About the Department
The Department of General Surgery at IIMSR, Integral University, Lucknow is a dynamic clinical department offering comprehensive surgical training for MBBS and postgraduate MS students. The department is headed by Dr. (Lt Col) Pavan Kumar Banga, Professor & Head. The Departmental Library-cum-Seminar Room accommodates up to 40 students at a time and houses standard surgical textbooks, clinical manuals, procedural guides, national and international surgical journals, e-books, and open-access medical resources in an air-conditioned, digitally managed facility. The department actively organises hands-on workshops in laparoscopic suturing, robotics, EVLT, and LASER proctology, and its faculty regularly participate in national-level surgical conferences.
