Who We Are
Integral Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (IIMSR), a constituent institution of Integral University, Lucknow, is committed to excellence in medical education, research, innovation, and patient care. Guided by the principles of academic excellence, ethical practice, and compassion, the Institute nurtures healthcare professionals equipped to address the evolving needs of society.
With 25+ academic departments, IIMSR offers a comprehensive learning environment that combines strong academic foundations with extensive clinical exposure and hands-on training. The curriculum is aligned with the National Medical Commission's Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) framework, fostering clinical competence, professionalism, communication skills, and outcome-based learning.
The Institute is equipped with an Advanced Clinical Skills & Simulation Centre, where students gain practical experience through high-fidelity simulation, immersive clinical scenarios, and structured procedural training before patient interaction. Modern teaching methodologies are supported by digital learning platforms, online assessments, e-portfolios, and competency tracking systems that enhance the overall learning experience.
Research and innovation form an integral part of the Institute's academic ecosystem. Faculty and students actively engage in clinical trials, translational medicine, epidemiological studies, interdisciplinary research, and the application of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in healthcare. Through the Integral Startups Foundation, the Institute promotes research commercialization, innovation, entrepreneurship, and incubation of technology-driven healthcare solutions.
Beyond academics, IIMSR is committed to community engagement and public health. Through its Village Adoption Programme, National Health Mission initiatives, health screening camps, immunization drives, antenatal and maternal healthcare services, malnutrition screening, digital literacy and cyber safety awareness programs, Kisan Goshtis, and specialized skill development programs for women farmers and Self-Help Groups (SHGs), the Institute actively contributes to improving community health, promoting preventive healthcare, and empowering underserved populations.
